The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) conducts the recruitment exam to induct suitable candidates for the post of Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) every year. As the name implies, a LIC Assistant Administrative Officer entails administrative responsibilities and has a desk job. However, the roles and responsibilities differ slightly based on the department. In general, the LIC AAO is responsible for the following tasks:

• LIC AAOs must assist the Administrative Officer or the department head in supervising the overall operation of the department.

Education Qualification for LIC AAO Mains

To be eligible for LIC AAO (Generalist), candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian University/Institution.

Note:

• The officials do not consider any other equivalent educational qualification.
• The educational qualification should be from a University/Institute/ Board recognised by Govt. of India / approved by the Government Regulatory bodies.
