LIC AAO Selection Process 2023: The Life Insurance Corporation of India administers the LIC AAO test to select candidates for the Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Specialist position in LIC offices. On January 15, 2023, the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) started accepting applications for 300 positions as Assistant Administrative Officers. The last date to apply for the same is January 31, 2023.

The LIC AAO selection process entails three stages: Preliminary Examination (Phase I), Main Examination (Phase II), and Interview, followed by a Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination. LIC AAO Written Exam 2023

The three sections of the written exam include Reasoning, English Language proficiency, and Quantitative Aptitude. The written exam will last an hour, or 60 minutes, in total. A candidate will lose 0.25 marks for each incorrect attempt at a question. Online testing will be used for the preliminary examination, including an objective test. The test will be divided into three further steps, each with its own schedule. Details are given here in the table below:

LIC AAO Mains Exam 2023

200 points worth of objective examinations will make up the main exam. There will be an online objective test. Every subject of the objective test will have its own timing which is tabulated below.

Here are some of the salient points that candidates must remember while opting for the LIC AAO exam 2023:

1. Descriptive tests in the English Language and other subjects will be of a qualifying nature, and points earned in those subjects won’t be used to determine rankings.
2. Each of the assessments must be passed by the candidates. Each objective test will require candidates to meet certain requirements.
3. In the objective tests for the main exam, incorrect answers will result in a deduction of points. Each incorrect response will result in a deduction of one-fourth of a mark.
4. The final selection will be based on a candidate’s performance in the Main Examination (Phase II) and the results of the Interview; the marks earned in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not add to the selection.
