LIC ADO Exam Pattern 2025: The Life Insurance Corporation of India is a well-known insurance and investment company. Many candidates take various LIC Exams in order to be hired in the industry. The LIC ADO job is a sales administrative position in which employees appoint LIC Insurance agents and inspect existing policies.

Candidates are appointed for the post of Apprentice Development Officer via the LIC ADO exam. The LIC ADO recruitment process is divided into three stages: preliminary examination, main examination, and personal interview. The LIC ADO exam pattern differs for candidates from the open market and LIC employees/agents. Candidates who clear their Mains examinations will be invited to an interview. The marks obtained in both the LIC ADO Mains exam and the LIC ADO Interview will be used to determine the final merit list of candidates.
The online test for the Open Market category consists of two phases, i.e., Prelims and Mains. The LIC ADO exam pattern for both phases is provided here.
The Prelims is objective. There are three sections in this phase having separate timings. The Reasoning and Numerical Ability sections will be in both English & Hindi.

The LIC Apprentice Development Officer online exam for Agents and Employee categories has only one phase, i.e., Mains. This exam will be conducted online and will be objective in nature. The total marks for this section are 160 marks.
The LIC ADO exam pattern for this category comprises three sections. It has a total of 150 questions. The exam is conducted bilingually (English and Hindi) and the time duration is 120 minutes.

The LIC ADO exam pattern for Employee Category also has three sections. This exam consists of a total of 150 questions with each question carrying 1 mark. It is conducted bilingually, i.e. in English and Hindi. The composite time duration for all three sections is 120 minutes.

Only those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks (both sectional and overall) in the Mains will be called for the interview process. Based on the number of vacancies, LIC reserves the right to fix the eligibility standards so as to restrict the applicants to be called for the interview and also decide on the minimum qualifying marks to qualify for the interview round. The maximum marks for the interview are 40 marks.
LIC will conduct a medical examination so as to check the fitness of the shortlisted candidates. Only those candidates who are found fit after the medical examination will be appointed as Apprentice Development Officers.
