LIC AAO Salary 2023

The basic LIC AAO salary and LIC AE (Assistant Engineer) Salary is Rs. 32795/- per month. The pay scale is Rs. 32795- 1610(14) –55335– 1745(4) –62315 plus other admissible allowances. The allowances include House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, and other allowances. Considering the basic pay and allowances, the total in-hand LIC AAO salary will be around Rs 57,000/- per month in ‘A’ Class city.

There will also be other benefits such as Defined Contributory Pension, Gratuity, LTC, Cash Medical Benefit, Group Mediclaim, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Group Insurance, Vehicle Loan (2-wheeler/4-wheeler) as per rules, meal coupon, reimbursement of the cost of Briefcase/leather bags, mobile handset, the supply of dailies and magazines and tea/coffee, mobile expenses, etc. as per rules.

LIC AAO Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: The candidate’s age must be between 21 and 30 years. this means that the candidate must not be born earlier than February 02, 1991, and February 01, 2000 (both days inclusive).

Educational Qualification

For AE (Civil): B.Tech/BE (Civil) from an AICTE-recognized Indian University/Institution. The candidate should have a minimum of three years of working experience in the planning and execution of multi-storied building projects with all required infrastructure.

For AE (Electrical): B.Tech/BE (Electrical) from an AICTE-recognized Indian University/Institution. The candidate should have a minimum of three years of working experience in the planning and execution of multi-storied building projects with all required infrastructure

For Assistant Architect: B.Arch. from a recognized Indian University/Institution. The candidate should be registered with the Council of Architecture and possess a minimum of three years of experience in designing all types of buildings with allied services. The candidate should also be well versed with green building design requirements and the application of AutoCAD software and/or similar type software.

For AE (Structural): M.Tech / M.E. (Structural) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/ Institution. The candidate should be well versed in the structural design of high-rise buildings with the foundation system. He/she should be familiar with various standards of BIS pertaining to structural design and Foundation design and must be experienced in the handling of structural engineering software like ETABS, STAAD, etc. Candidates applying for the post must possess a minimum of one year of hands-on experience in the area.

For AE (MEP engineers): B.Tech./ B.E. (Mechanical/ Electrical) from an AICTE-recognized Indian University/Institution. The candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in planning and execution of Plumbing / Piping / HVAC systems, Lift & Fire Fighting systems, and Electrical substations in multi-storied buildings.

For AAO (Chartered Accountant): Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and completion of Articles as presented by the Institute of Chartered Accountants. The candidate should be an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

For AAO (Actuarial): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have compulsorily passed 6 or more papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK. as on the date of eligibility i.e. 1st February 2023. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.

For AAO (Legal): Bachelor’s degree in Law or LLM from a recognized Indian University/Institution. Three years of Bar experience is essential.

For AAO (Rajbhasha): Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level OR Post-Graduate Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level OR Post-Graduate Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.

For AAO (IT): Graduation degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT or Electronics), or MCA or MSC (Computer Science) from a recognized Indian University/ Institution.

LIC AAO Selection Stages

The Selection Process consists of three stages. Check the details from below:

Prelims Exam: The Preliminary examination is the first step of the selection process. Prelims exam is objective in nature and is conducted through online mode.

Mains Exam: Candidates shortlisted based on performance in the Prelims exam will be called for the Mains exam. Approximately, 20 times the number of vacancies in each category will be shortlisted for the Mains exam. The Mains exam is conducted in Computer-Based Mode.
