MHT CET Merit List 2025: The State Common Entrance Test Cell (SCETC), Maharashtra will release the round 1 MHT CET merit list for the 5-year LLB programme on its official webpage, https://cetcell.mahacet.org, in a PDF format. After declaring the exam results, SCETC will release the merit list. Candidates can access the merit list without using their login credentials, i.e., they do not need to enter their application number or date of birth as it is available in PDF.

The MHT CET 2025 merit list is based on the candidate’s marks scored in the entrance test and indicates the candidate’s rank in the state. How To Check MHT CET Provisional Merit List 2025?

To check the MHT CET 2025 merit list, candidates can check the steps below:

• 1st Step: Visit the official website.
• 2nd Step: Search for Check provisional merit list status. It will appear.

• 3rd Step: Enter your login credentials – Application ID and Date of Birth. Click on the Submit button.
• 4th Step: The MHT CET provisional rank list will be displayed on the screen in PDF format. Download the same for future reference.

MHT CET Rank List 2025: Marks Calculation

To calculate the marks, candidates must know the MHT CET exam pattern as well as the marking scheme of the examination. MHT CET marks calculation formula is as below:

MHT CET = (Total Correct answers in Maths x 2) + (Total Correct answers in Physics and Chemistry x 1)

Note: There will be no negative marking in case of any wrong answers.

MHT CET Merit List 2025: Tie-Breaking Criteria

At times, two or more candidates get equal marks in total, and in such a case, a tie-breaking method is followed. Candidates can check below the MHT CET tie-breaking scheme: 

• Candidates who are older in age are given preference.
• Those who have secured more marks in class 12th are given the first preference.
• Also, those who scored more in Mathematics in MHT CET are given preference.
• However, if a tie exists, higher marks or scores in MHT CET Physics are given preference.
• Lastly, candidates with a higher score in Chemistry are preferred.
