MHT CET Seat Allotment 2023: Overall Process
The seats will be allotted to candidates through a centralised process called CAP. The seat allotment is done based on the candidate’s rank secured in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2023. Such candidates will be allotted seats based on their preference of college and the course they have filled in the application form. Downloading the Seat Allotment Letter
Candidates must log in and download the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test 2023 provisional seat allotment letter in the form of a PDF. They must take a printout of the letter, which will be required during admission. The allotment letter will contain the details of the allotted institution.
Reporting at Admission Reporting Centre (ARC)
Following the seat allotment process, candidates must report to the reporting centre to confirm their seat allotment and select options for consecutive rounds of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test seat allotment. Candidates will be able toze, slide, or float their assigned seats.
Freeze: Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seats and do not wish to participate in further rounds must select the “Freeze” option.
Slide: Candidates who want to accept the allotted seat but also are open to other courses in the same institute must select the “Slide” option. Once the candidate is allotted a higher preferred course, the previously allotted seat will be cancelled.
Float: Candidates who have been designated a seat in previous seat allocation rounds and wish to upgrade to any course at any college/institute must select the “Float” option.
