The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) was established in 1965 under the Madhya Pradesh Secondary Education Act. MPBSE is the school-level education board that monitors and regulates the development of secondary-level school education in MP. They conduct board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 students every year.

Madhya Pradesh Board has released the exam pattern for Class 10 on the official website. Students can check the exam pattern on this page to prepare effectively for the exams. For candidates failing to secure the minimum passing marks by a small margin, grace marks will be awarded and the students will be promoted to Class 11. In case of absence for any of the considered tests and exams, students will be marked unsuccessful in Class 10 and made to repeat the following academic year.

For private candidates, there is no scope for internal assessment or evaluation. They were given marks as an average of the best of five scores obtained by them in Class 9.

The board officials of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education release Class 10 MP Board Admit Card on the official website of MPBSE every year before the exam. Students can download the MPBSE admit card for Class 10 from the official website. Private candidates can also collect the MP 10th admit card from the regional centres.

In order to download the MPBSE Admit Card for Class 10, follow the steps as under,

• 1st Step: Visit the official website of MPBSE – mpbse.nic.in.
• 2nd Step: Move to the “नवीनतम निर्देश, आदेश” section.
• 3rd Step: Check for the “MPBSE 10th Admit Card 2024” link and click on it.
• 4th Step: Enter your credentials and log in.
• 5th Step: Your Madhya Pradesh Class 10 Board exam Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.
• 6th Step: Students are advised to take the printout of the MPBSE Admit Card.

Note: No student will be allowed to enter the exam hall without their MPBSE Admit Card. Also, candidates shouldn’t wait until the last moment to download the admit card.

MP Board Class 10 Instructions for Handicapped Students

The instructions in regard to handicapped students are as follows,

• Students of the Blind, Deaf, Dumb and Spastic Cerebral Palsy categories shall have an exemption from special language. Candidates may opt for Hindi (General) or English (General) as Second Language.
• Blind Students may opt for Music instead of Mathematics; the Science practicals for these students will be only oral. 
• Dumb and Deaf students may opt for music or drawing instead of Mathematics or Science.
• Blind and Spastic Cerebral Palsy students will have one-hour extra time to solve the question paper during the examination.

How to Check MP Board Class 10 Results Online?

• Click on Submit.

After carefully going through MPBSE HSC results, students can save them on their systems or take its printout. This will help them avoid any inconvenience in the future. The students must compulsorily collect their original mark sheets after the MP Board issues them from their respective schools.

MP Board Class 10 Exam 2022-23 Result: Rechecking and Revaluation

If a student is not satisfied with the marks received in the MPBSE 10th Result, they can opt for rechecking or revaluation provided by the MP board. Students can opt for this facility by paying a nominal fee charged by the MP board. In rechecking, the total of the entire answer sheet is rechecked, whereas, in re-evaluation, the marks are allotted and calculated again. In contrast, the answer sheet is scanned for an unawarded answer.

Students who are unable to meet the passing criterion (33%) can choose to appear in the Compartmental Examination. This exam is also conducted by MPBSE for students who fail in one or two subjects. Such applicants will be able to reappear for the examination after the declaration of the MP Board Class 10 result.

Students are expected to fill out an application form and pay the required fees. However, if a student has failed in more than two subjects, they will not be able to avail of this facility. For more information, visit the official website of the MP Board.
