NEET MBBS Karnataka Rank List For 85% State Quota Seats

Let us go through some of the important points regarding the Karnataka NEET MBBS rank list:

• Admission to medical and dental UG programs in all MCI-approved medical and dental colleges is facilitated based on NEET 2022 score/rank.
• The authorities will release the Karnataka NEET result 2022 based on NEET scores and eligibility.
• NEET counselling is conducted for the 15% All India Quota seats and the 85% state quota seats.
• The 15% All India Quota seats will include the medical and dental seats from all the government colleges, which will be filled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
• The remaining 85% of seats are the state quota seats which will be filled by the Karnataka State Governments.
• KEA has released the Karnataka merit list for 85% of seats under the state quota.

NEET MBBS Karnataka Merit List 2022: Eligibility

The seat allotment will be based on the NEET MBBS Karnataka rank list 2022. The rank list is framed based on the minimum percentile obtained in NEET 2022 for all categories and according to the preferred choices selected by the candidates.

• Further, the candidates with fewer wrong responses in order of the subjects mentioned above will be given preference.
• If the tie cannot be resolved even considering these criteria, the older candidate will be given a higher preference.

NEET MBBS Karnataka Counselling 2022

Candidates must consider the following pointers for the NEET Karnataka counselling process:

• First, candidates must register with KEA to appear for Karnataka State NEET counselling seats.
• Candidates have to visit the document verification centre to prove their eligibility.
• After successful document verification, candidates will receive a key to activate their account.
• Candidates can then login to their account as per the schedule and check the seat matrix for the choice filling.
• They can fill in the choices as per their preference. First, there will be a mock allotment process.
• After the mock allotment, the window for modifying the choices will be enabled.
• The seat is allocated based on the candidate’s rank, institute cutoff ranks, preference, priority, etc..
• Candidates can choose to proceed to the next round. They can report to the respective college for admissions.
• Subsequent rounds of seat allotment will be conducted as per schedule.
