How to Calculate NEET 2023 Exam Score?
Candidates can calculate their NEET score by comparing the NEET answer key with their responses. Knowing the NEET 2023 marking scheme will help to calculate the NEET exam score.
For every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded.
For every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted from the total score.
No marks are deducted for unattempted questions.
Physics and Chemistry carry 180 marks each, whereas Biology sections are 360 marks.
Total marks = 180 MCQs X 4 = 720 Marks
The formula to calculate the NEET score is as follows:
NEET Score = (Number of Correct Attempts X 4) – (Number of Incorrect Attempts X 1)
The NEET calculated score is the raw score, which is converted to NEET percentile scores. After that, the All India Ranks and category ranks are prepared.
What Is NEET Percentile Score?
The NEET percentile is the candidate’s performance in comparison to other students. The percentile score tells you the percentage of students (of the total number of students who appeared for the exam) who scored less than or equal to that particular percentile in the NEET exam.
