NEET UG 2022 results will be declared tentatively during the third week of October 2022. In 2021, AIR (All India Rank)-1 was captured by Mrinal Kutteri, Tanmay Gupta and Karthika G Nair. NTA NEET Results usually contain the candidate’s name, marks obtained, percentile scores, gender, and applicable category.
According to media reports, in 2021, the maximum number of applications were received from the Maharashtra state – a total of 2.28 lakh candidates applied for the medical entrance exam. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, the number of NEET 2022 applications from the state have dipped a bit. After Maharashtra, the state of Uttar Pradesh had the highest number of NEET applications with 1.54 lakh candidates. On the other hand, NTA had received a total of 1.19 lakh applications from Karnataka, followed by Tamil Nadu and Kerala with 1.17 and 1.16 lakh candidates, respectively.
Due to low population density, Lakshadweep has received the lowest number of applications with 183 registrations, followed by Daman, Diu, Andaman, and the Nicobar Islands with 707 and 800 applications, respectively.
