NEST Eligibility Criteria 2023

The candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to apply for the NEST exam, which is as follows:

1. The candidates must have passed the Class 12 exam or equivalent exam from the science stream from a recognized board in India. 
2. The candidates must have secured a minimum of 60 per cent of marks in the exam. The requirement for the SC/ST/PwD candidates is 55 per cent. 
3. Aspirants must be born on or after August 1, 2002. However, SC/ST/PwD candidates get a relaxation of five years. 

Prerequisites for NEST 2023 Application Form

Candidates must keep certain documents handy while filling out the application form. The documents needed are as follows:

1. Class 10th mark sheet.
2. Class 12th mark sheet.
