November 14, 2024NEST 2023 exam will be conducted on June 24, 2023. Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination must participate in the NEST 2023 counselling rounds. The counselling and admission for NISER, Bhubaneswar and CBS Mumbai will occur at NISER, Bhubaneswar and CBS Bhubaneswar. The counselling of NEST 2023 will consist of two rounds. The second round of NEST counselling will be organised based on the vacant seats left in round one.
To participate in counselling, candidates must fill out the registration form. Candidates seeking admission to the 5-year Integrated MSc. course at NISER and the University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences must apply for it before the last date. Latest Updates:
– NEST 2023 Registration will start on February 27, 2023. The last date to fill out the application form is May 17, 2023.
– The authorities have announced NEST 2023 Exam Dates on the official website. The exam will be conducted on June 24, 2023.

Candidates qualifying for the NEST 2023 exam will be able to participate in the counselling session conducted by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the University of Mumbai, Department of Atomic Energy-Centre of Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS).
The NISER 2023 counselling will be conducted online mode. The authorities will release the merit list for the candidates who have qualified the exam. Candidates who will meet the cut-off will be allowed to participate in the counselling session conducted for the admission and seat allotment process. For counselling, candidates will be asked to upload certain documents as part of the process of document verification. Here is a list of documents required.
Candidates who wish to withdraw the admission should do it before the end of second counselling round. To cancel the admission, the candidates will need to send an email to the concerned authorities with the details mentioned below:
Based on their merit lists, all shortlisted candidates will be assigned seats in their respective courses at NISER and CEBS. It should be noted that the NEST exam does not have joint counselling. The NEST counselling procedure is:

Ans: Through NEST 2023, about 200 seats will be filled at NISER and around 57 seats will be filled at CEBS.
