Notice Writing Format for Class 6 to Class 12: Marking Scheme

Notice Writing: Important Tips

A few important notice writing tips which will help you while writing a notice are listed below:

  • A well-written notice must address the 5 Ws:
    • What is the event that is going to happen,
    • Where will the event take place,
    • When will the event take place (that is, the date and time),
    • Who can apply or is eligible to take part in the event, and
    • Whom and how to contact or where to apply (that is, the issuing authority).
  • Mention the word ‘NOTICE’ at the top of the Notice.
  • Make sure to write a notice in the box always.
  • Only formal language must be used to write a notice.
