2nd Step: On the home page, click on the link to check the ‘UGC NET Scorecard’.
3rd Step: On the result page, enter your ‘Application Number‘, ‘Date of Birth‘ and ‘Security Pin‘. Click on the ‘Submit‘ button
4th Step: NTA UGC NET Resultwill be displayed on the screen. Download NTA UGC National Eligibility Test Scorecard for further reference.
The result will also specify the normalised scores. Normalisation is done to adjust the difficulty level of the National Eligibility Test paper and candidates’ answers in different sessions.

UGC NET Normalisation Procedure
UGC National Eligibility Test Result is prepared with the help of raw and percentile scores. Refer to the formula given below to calculate UGC NET normalized percentiles:
Let TP1 be the percentile Total Raw Score of that candidate.
Total Percentile (TP1) = 100 X no. of candidates who appeared from the session with a raw score equal to or less than T1 score/ Total No. of candidates who appeared in the session
Shortlisting Candidates for UGC NET
Assistant Professor: The NTA officials shortlist the top 6% of candidates for Assistant Professor posts.
Junior Fellowship: The officials also shortlist candidates eligible for JRF and Assistant Professor posts.
The normalisation procedure to calculate the Junior Fellowship eligibility is as below:
Total Slots in General Category of JRF = (Number of candidates opted for eligibility for Assistant Professor in that subject X Number of slots available under General category) / Total number of general candidates who have opted for JRF and are qualified for eligibility for an Assistant Professor.

UGC NET Document Verification 2024
The authorities will call all the qualified candidates for document verification. Candidates must carry the following documents for the same:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue an e-certificate and JRF award letters one month after the announcement of the UGC NET Result. The conducting authorities will activate the link, allowing candidates to download their certificates.
