OFB Recruitment Eligibility 2022

Before filling up the OFB application form and applying for the exam, candidates should know the OFB eligibility criteria. They should apply for the exam only if they meet all the requirements prescribed by the board. • OFB Location Criteria: Candidates belonging to districts of North 24 Parganas, Nadia, Kolkata & Hooghly districts of West Bengal will be given preference.

• OFB Age Limit: Candidates should be between 15 to 24 years. There is a relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

3. Scanned copy of the candidate’s Left Thumb Impression (LTI) on a white paper with blue ink. The image should have a dimension of 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm, be of JPG/JPEG/PNG/BMP/GIF format, 100 DPI, and between 20kb-30kb.
4. 12 digit Aadhaar Card Number/14 digit Enrolment ID
5. SSC (Matriculation / 10th Standard) or its equivalent mark sheet.
6. Proof of date of birth
7. Consolidated mark sheet for all semesters of the relevant ITI Pass trade/Provisional National Trade Certificate indicating marks
8. National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT or Provisional National Trade Certificate issued by NCVT / SCVT for ITI pass candidates
9. Caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates
10. Physical Disability certificate issued by the competent Medical Board/ Authority

Ordnance Factory Recruitment 2022 Apply Online Process

The OFB application form will be released in the online mode. Candidates must fill up the application form from the official website by following the steps:

• 1st Step: Visit the official website – mhrdnats.gov.in.
• 2nd Step: Apply For The Establishment “Rifle Factory, Ishapore” After Logging into NATS Portal.

SC/ST/PWD/Female/Transgender candidates are exempted from paying the OFB application fee.

OFB Trade Apprentice Selection Process

The authorities will create a separate OFB merit list for NON-ITI and EX-ITI categories. The Non-ITI merit list will be compiled factory-wise based on the overall percentage of marks secured by the candidates in the Class X standard or equivalent exam. After selection, the factories will allot trades on Merit-cum-choice basis.

For the Ex-ITI category, the authorities will compile the factory-wise and trade-wise merit list based on a simple average of the percentage scores of the candidates in both Matriculation and ITI (minimum 50% in aggregate in each). The provisionally selected candidates will then be called for Document Verification and Medical Examination. Candidates whose documents are found in order and are medically fit will be considered for further processes.
