The various factors involved in rankings make ranking all NITs and other institutes difficult. For example, according to the NIT opening and closing ranks (one of the criteria used to rank colleges), NIT Durgapur would rank in the top 15. Similarly, by the quality of its campus, NIT Silchar would rank within the top 10. But since ranking is not based on one single criterion, some dispute is inevitable. Therefore, the list is updated annually, based on the most important factors to candidates.
The NITs are why lakhs of candidates appear for the JEE Main yearly. Have you got what it takes to get into the prestigious NITs? Do you know the cutoffs for all NITs of the total seats in NIT colleges in India? If your dream is to get into NIT, you should get cracking with preparing for the competition like no other. Engineering aspirants from all over the country will be vying for those limited seats. Find out how to prepare for JEE Main by practising on Embibe.
