RBI Assistant LPT Exam Pattern 2025
RBI’s latest notification announces a new change in the RBI Exam Pattern for the Assistant exam 2025. Candidates will have to appear for an LPT. This is a test to assess your proficiency in the regional/local language of the region/place where you will be posted. Candidates who are not proficient in the required local language will be disqualified. The local languages that will be tested as per the official notification are given below:
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests (Preliminary and Main exams). 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. No mark will be deducted if the question is left unanswered or blank. Do not guess answers blindly in the exams. Keep the negative marking aspect in mind. Solve the questions confidently and then make sure that the answer is correct.
RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2025
Academic Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
A candidate belonging to the Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
Candidates applying for the post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/ any of the states falling under the recruiting office.
Important points for the RBI Assistant Exam 2025
There will be no interview.
Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective online tests.
Both the Prelims and Mains exams will be conducted online.
A candidate has to qualify in the Prelims exam for appearing in the Mains exam.
The question paper will be bilingual in nature, i.e., available in Hindi as well as English.
The cutoff for the RBI Assistant Prelims and Mains exams will be decided by the RBI.
