November 18, 2024The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE), usually referred to as BSER, Ajmer Board is the body responsible for overseeing secondary education in Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Secondary Education Act of 1957 (Act No. 42 of 1957) served as the legal framework for the establishment of BSER or RBSE.
RBSE conducts Class 12 board examinations every year. Students should focus on practical and theory papers to obtain a good score in their Class 12 examination. The scores obtained in Class 12 exams will help determine the college they will get into for their graduation. For 2021, the RBSE Class 12 exams were canceled, given the rising COVID-19 cases. Thus, the result was declared based on evaluation criteria given by the board. But no merit list was declared. Though the RBSE class 12 2022 result is declared but the topper list is yet to be released. However, around 2.3 lakh candidates appeared for Class 12 Science stream exams in the year 2020 and the topper list for the same is given below:

Around 36,000 students appeared for the 12 Commerce stream exams in 2020. The pass percentage of the Commerce stream students was 94.49%. However, the performance of girls was better than boys. The overall pass percentage of girls was 97.36%. The pass percentage of boys in 2020 was 93.68%. Deeksha Agarwal topped the exam with 97.6%.
In 2020, around 5,80,725 students of the Arts stream appeared for the RBSE 12 exam and out of these, 5,26,726 students managed to pass the exam. The pass percentage of Arts stream students was 90.70%. Girls outshined boys, and the overall pass percentage of girls was 93.10%. The pass percentage of boys was 85.41% in 2020. Geeta Jaipal topped the exam that year with 99.4%.
Students who fail their exam or are unable to appear for the exams of one or two subjects in the RBSE Class 12 result 2023, will get an opportunity for reappearing in the supplementary exams. Students should check the RBSE Class 12 timetable 2023 for supplementary and then plan their studies accordingly. This will help them to make a better study routine. They can appear for the RBSE 12th supplementary exam in August 2023.
