RPF Constable Exam Pattern 2022: The RPF Constable Exam Pattern 2022 is divided into three sections: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). RPF Constable Computer Based Test (CBT) Pattern
The first stage of the RPF constable selection process is CBT. The exam will be held for all candidates who will apply for RPF Constable 2022 exam. This exam will be given to all groups across the country at the same time. There will be three sections in the CBT which are tabulated below along with the number of questions and marking scheme:

Note: The following are the key features of RPF Constable CBT:
The total number of multiple-choice questions is 120.
All questions in the paper are required, and candidates will receive one point for each correct answer.
In CBT, a negative marking policy is used; for each incorrect answer, 1/3 of the marks will be deducted.
The exam will be of secondary or matric level, with questions based on the RPF constable syllabus.
The examination will last 1.5 hours with a total score of 120.

RPF Constable Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Pattern
According to the Ministry of Railways’ official notification 2022, it is mandatory for all candidates, regardless of gender, to meet their requirements. The PMT test is used to assess each candidate’s medical standards and conditions. There is some preference for Gorkhas, Garhwalis, etc. Check the PMT standards for both male and female candidates from the below sections:

RPF Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Pattern
Candidates who pass the CBT exam will be invited to take the PET & PMT exam. In this Physical Efficiency Test, each candidate must meet the RPF’s standard scores for the position of Constable. PET standards differ for male and female candidates.

Note:
PET is just qualifying in nature and no marks will be awarded in this phase.
For both 800 meters and 1600 meters running events, only one chance will be given.
For long and high jump, every candidate will get two chances.
Ex-Serviceman candidates won’t have to appear for PET.
RPF Constable Interview
The candidate who successfully completes all three stages of the RPF Constable Exam is invited to the RPF Constable interview.
A few general questions will be asked from candidates to assess their overall personality and moral compass.
In other words, the personality test or interview is not used to assess a candidate’s intelligence.
Although this is not a part of the exam, it is a very important part of it.
RPF Constable Document Verification
Candidates will be chosen for Document Verification based on their performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT), provided they have passed the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test (PET and PMT). Some of the important guidelines related to RPF Constable DV are:
If two or more candidates receive the same score in the CBT, the rank will be determined based on age, with the older candidate receiving first preference.
After participating in all previous rounds, candidates must present all supporting documents during the Document Verification (DV) round.
Candidates could also show their NCC, domicile, and other certificates of extracurricular activities during the round to increase their possibilities of being shortlisted.
Certificates Required for Document Verification
The following documents, in original and self-attested photocopies, will be required for verification in the case of candidates who pass the PET/PMT:
a. 10th/Matriculation certificate as proof of age
b. 10th/Matriculation certificate as proof of educational qualification
c. Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in the format prescribed for employment under Central Government
d. Discharge certificate for Ex-Serviceman
e. Two copies of self-attested colour photograph
f. No Objection Certificate- (NOC) from the present employer in case of serving Govt. employees
g. Domicile certificate wherever applicable
RPF Constable Final Selection
Even after clearing all three stages of the exam, candidates who pass with ease will be called for Document Verification and Medical Examination. The final selection and appointment of candidates will be based on the results of the Railway Administration’s Medical Fitness Test. Also, the documents of the candidates (qualification, category, etc.) should be in order.
Note: Candidates must complete training at a railway academy in order to join the RPF as a constable.
