November 18, 2024RRB Group D Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2025: Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) has announced that the RRB Group D Exam 2025 will be conducted from August 17, 2025 onwards in multiple shifts as mentioned in the notice released on June 30, 2025. The RRB Group D Recruitment Exam is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for various posts such as Track Maintainer Grade-IV and Helper/Assistant in various technical and other departments of Indian Railways.

Here are a few important points that candidates must note regarding the RRB Group D Exam 2025.
Note: The examination duration will be 120 Minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied by Scribe.
The information and requirements for RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test are given below.
Male Candidates | 1. Male candidates should be able to carry 35 kg of weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes. This should be done in a single stretch without putting the weight down. 2. Candidates should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters or 1 km in 4 mins and 15 secs. For both these tasks, only one chance will be given. |
Female Candidates | 1. Female candidates should be able to carry a weight of 20 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes. They should be able to do it in a single stretch without putting the weight down. 2. Candidates should be able to run for a distance of 1 km in 5 mins and 40 secs. No second chance will be given for these tasks. |
Person with Disabilities Candidates | PwD candidates won’t have to appear for PET. However, they will have to clear the medical examination prescribed for PwD candidates. |
On the basis of the candidate’s performance in CBT and qualifying status in PET, 1.05 times candidates to the number of RRB Group D vacancies will be called for the Document Verification round.
After completing the Document Verification process candidates will have to appear for the medical examination round. The medical fitness check will be done according to the Indian Railway and Government of India norms. Candidates will be declared as fit or unfit for the role and the decision of the board will be final. Candidates who clear this round and declared as ‘Fit’ will be receiving the final call letter from the Railway Recruitment board.
