RRB JE Exam Pattern 2025 For CBT Stage I

The exam pattern for the Computer Based Test Stage I is tabulated below:

– The time duration of the CBT 1 exam is 90 minutes.
– For every incorrect answer, 1/3rd mark will be deducted.
– Each question carries 1 mark.
– All the questions will be of multiple choice question (MCQ) type.

RRB JE Exam Pattern For CBT Stage 2

The candidates who are qualified in stage 1 is eligible for stage 2 computer-based test. The exam pattern for CBT Stage 2 is tabulated below:

– For the stage 2 examination, the virtual calculator will be available on the screen.
– For every, incorrect answer 1/3rd marks will be deducted.
– Each question carries 1 mark.
– All the questions will be of multiple choice type.

RRB JE Minimum Qualifying Marks

Aspirants must also know about the minimum qualifying marks for the RRB JE exam. Also, since RRB will conduct two rounds of the computer-based test (CBT), scoring minimum passing marks in both will be required to proceed to the next round of the recruitment process. RRB JE Document Verification and Medical Round

Aspirants who successfully clear the stage-2 round of CBT will be eligible for the last stage of the RRB JE selection process, which is ‘Document Verification (DV)’, followed by a medical exam. In the DV round, aspirants’ documents will be analysed closely to ensure that there is nothing in the documents as counterfeit. Aspirants must produce or show the following documents to authority for verification as per the scheduled event:

1. Matriculation/ High School Examination Certificate or Equivalent certificate
2. Proof for Date of Birth and Matric qualification
3. Diploma/ Degree Certificate
4. Category Certificate
5. Income Certificate for Waiving Examination Fee
6. Medical Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
7. NOC from serving employees/ Ex-Servicemen
8. Minority declaration on Non-judicial Stamp Paper

Document verification will be followed by a medical test round. In a Medical test, the candidates will be examined whether they are medically fit to carry out the duties or not. Candidates who succeed in all these stages will be appointed as a Junior Engineer in Railways.
