RRB Kolkata Application process 2022

Candidates applying for various posts at RRB Kolkata can check their eligibility and start the application process. Check the below steps to understand the application process of RRB Kolkata as posted by the authorities of RRC Kolkata.

• 1st Step: Visit the official website: rrbkolkata.gov.in.
• 2nd Step: Select the post for which you wish to apply. Now click on ‘New Registration.‘
• 3rd Step: Read the instructions and confirm by clicking on the check box.
• 4th Step: Enter all the required fields, cross-verify the details, and click ‘Submit’.
• 5th Step: You will receive an OTP in your registered email id and mobile number for verification.
• 6th Step: Enter the OTP through the ‘Activation Link’ sent to the mobile number or email id and click on ‘Proceed‘.
• 7th Step: A registration number will be generated and sent to the registered mobile or maid-id. Note it down for future reference.
• 8th Step: Now, on the RRB Kolkata homepage, click on ‘Candidates Login.‘
• 9th Step: Enter the ‘Registration Number‘ and ‘Password‘ and click on ‘Login‘.
• 10th Step: Enter all the mandatory fields and make the payment.
• 11th Step: In the next phase you can select your priority/ preferences for the posts. In this phase, the scanned copy of documents must be attached.

The application process will be successful only if the candidate receives the acknowledgement from RRB Kolkata. The application fee for UR candidates is Rs. 500 and for all others, it is Rs. 250/-. The application fee can be paid online through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

RRB Kolkata Admit Card 2022

RRB Kolkata NTPC Admit Card: The RRB NTPC Admit Card will be released on the official website a few days before the exam. The actual date has not yet been announced by the RRB. Both the exams, i.e. RRB NTPC CBT 1 and CBT 2 will be conducted phase-wise.

RRB Kolkata Ministerial Admit Card: The admit card for RRB Isolated & Ministerial Categories will be released stage wise. After the CBT is completed, a separate admit card will be released for Skill Test.

RRB Kolkata Level 1 Admit Card: The release date for RRB Kolkata admit card for Level-1 posts will be 10-15 days prior to the online CBT exam.

RRB Kolkata Exam Pattern 2022

NTPC CBT 1 Exam Pattern

• The total number of questions will be 100. The total time is 90 minutes.
• There is a negative marking of 1/3.
• Stage 1 is for screening only. Marks scored in Stage 1 will not be taken into account for the final merit list.
• For Stage 2, RRB Kolkata will select candidates 20 times the number of vacancies.
• The normalisation of marks will be done.

NTPC CBT 2 Exam Pattern

• For each of the 7th CPC Levels, i.e. Level 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, separate CBT will be held for Stage 2 with the graded difficulty level.
• A negative marking of 1/3 is there.
• For the different levels of posts, the level of questions will be different.
• The normalisation of marks will be done in this stage as well.

NTPC Typing Skill Test/ Computer Based Aptitude Test

NTPC Document Verification/ Medical Examination

Those candidates who qualify for the third stage of the CBAT/ Typing test will be called for Document Verification (DV) stage. After that, medical fitness test will be conducted for candidates. Those candidates who are found fit will be given an appointment letter to work with the Indian Railways.

Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) will be conducted only for those candidates who have opted for Traffic Assistant and Station Master. For the rest of the candidates, typing test is conducted. Please note that both these tests are qualifying in nature.
