Important Points About RRB NTPC Exam Pattern

  • The total exam duration for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) will be 120 minutes. 
  • There is no sectional timing, and candidates will be able to manage the time for different sections.
  • For each incorrect answer, ⅓ marks will be deducted.
  • Number of candidates selected after CBT 1 will be 20 times the number of category-wise vacancies.
  • Those who are selected on the basis of their respective quota (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, ExSM) in Stage 2 CBT will be considered for the same category throughout the recruitment process.

1st Stage: RRB NTPC Preliminary Exam (1st Stage CBT)

4th Stage: Document Verification
5th Stage: Medical Examination

Those who have applied for the post of Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, and Commercial Apprentice do not have to appear for the 3rd Stage (Skill Test) and will be directly processed to the document verification stage.
