RRB Group D examination is held once a year by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). It provides candidates with a better understanding of the examination. Note-
The total duration of the exam is 90 minutes or 1 hour 30 minutes.
For PwBD candidates the duration of the exam is extended to 2 hours or 120 minutes.
There will be negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer.
All the questions are multiple-choice type.

RRC Group D Physical Efficiency Test
The information and requirements for RRC Group D Physical Efficiency Test are given below.
Male Candidates
1. Male candidates should carry 35 kg of weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes. This should be done in one chance without putting the weight down. 2. Candidates should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters or 1 km in 4 mins and 15 secs. For both these tasks, only one chance will be given.
Female Candidates
1. Female candidates should carry a weight of 20 kg for 100 meters in 2 minutes. They should be able to do it in one chance without putting the weight down. 2. Candidates should be able to run for a distance of 1 km in 5 mins and 40 secs. No second chance will be given for these tasks.
Person with Disabilities Candidates (PwD)
1. PwD candidates won’t have to appear for PET. However, they will have to clear the medical examination prescribed for PwD candidates.
