SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) is the responsible authority that releases SRMJEEE eligibility criteria. Candidates will not be considered for any further selection rounds if they do not meet the stated SRMJEEE 2025 eligibility criteria. Therefore, before submitting an application form, applicants seeking admission to any SRM institute should review the SRMJEEE eligibility criteria for 2025 carefully.
Candidates must ensure they meet the basic requirements specified by the authorities for their particular B.Tech courses before registering for the SRMJEE 2025. The eligibility criteria for SRMJEEE 2025 exam majorly include age-related standards, and nationality, among other academic requirements. Keep reading this page to know more.
SRMJEEE 2025 Age Requirement
Candidates must complete 16 years of age on or before July 31, 2025.
Indian candidates will be able to apply and participate in SRMJEEE 2025. NRI, PIO, or OCI card holders are eligible to apply and participate in the SRMJEEE 2025. In addition, candidates who don’t want to take the admission exam can apply via the international student category.
Candidates appearing in the SRMJEEE 2025 will be eligible to appear for the exam.

Additionally, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics must be present as the major subjects. Furthermore, 60% is the required minimum percentage on the SRM AP qualifying test. |
B.Tech Course (Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, and Genetic Engineering) | Candidates must have the subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology/Botany & Zoology/Biotechnology as major subjects having a minimal percentage aggregate of 50%. |
Others | Candidates who completed their 12th grade at NIOS are also eligible to apply. But, they are not qualified to apply for SRMJEEE 2025 if they also completed their 10th standard at NIOS. Candidates who have earned a Foreign Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or A-level at any international school having Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Botany & Zoology, or Biotechnology as the main topics are also acceptable. |
