The Commission has recently changed the SSC CGL selection process. The recruitment process now has two stages, i.e., Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier 1 consists of one paper and Tier 2 has three papers. Paper 1 is compulsory for all candidates. However, Paper 2 is only for Junior Statistical Officers (JSO), and Paper 3 is for Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer posts.
