The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam is a computer-based online test (CBT) conducted in an online format. Candidates have a total of 60 minutes to attempt the Tier 1 paper. Candidates are penalised with a 1/2 mark for each wrong attempt in the Tier 1 exam.
