SSC GD Constable Recruitment Process 2025
Candidates appearing in the SSC GD Constable Exam 2025 will have to undergo the 4 stages of the selection procedure. Those 4 stages are as follows:
Computer-Based Exam (CBE)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Medical Test or Detailed Medical Test (DME)

1. SSC GD Constable Computer-Based Exam (CBE)
The Computer-based Examination is administered online. The following is the SSC GD Exam Pattern:
The CBT test will contain objective-type questions.
There will be a total of 100 questions carrying 100 marks (1 mark per question).
The total duration of the examination will be 90 minutes.
There will be four different sections to answer, each carrying 25 marks.
A negative marking of 0.25 marks will apply for every wrong answer.

3. SSC GD Constable PST Exam

4. SSC GD Constable Medical Test
Candidates who pass all three stages (CBE, PST, and PET) are eligible for the medical exam. During the medical test, they will be tested for eyesight and other physical ailments. Only on meeting the specified criteria will the candidates be eligible to take up SSC GD Constable posts. The details of the eyesight requirements are given below.
Physical and Mental Health
The candidate must not possess physical ailments such as knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in the eyes.
The candidate must be mentally sound and physically fit. Any sort of physical obligation that can be an obstacle to the duty can be liable to rejection.
Eye Sight
The minimum near vision should be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye).
The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye) of both eyes without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity.
