The SSC Selection Post Computer Based Test has 4 sections. Once the candidates get through the CBT exam, if their post demands it, they would go to the next stage of the exam which is the Skill Test and proceed to the SSC Selection Post Document Verification process accordingly.

As per the post of the candidates that they have applied for, after the completion of the Computer Based Test, they need to sit for the Skill Tests for Data Entry/Typing/Computer Proficiency Test. SSC Selection Post Syllabus does not need any particular chapter or topic for the Skill Test. It is taken on the candidate’s practical knowledge and it has a qualifying nature as well. Note that the Final Merit List will be drawn on the basis of your Computer Based Test performance.

NOTE: The Computer Based Test will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). The total time duration is 60 minutes and there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for every wrong answer.
