SSC Stenographer 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The SSC Stenographer eligibility criteria include factors such as educational qualification, age limit, and nationality that candidates must meet to be considered for the position. Let’s look at the important eligibility criteria below:

Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens or any of the following categories:

  • A Subject of Nepal, or
  • A Subject of Bhutan, or
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  • A Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Note: Provided that such candidates, except Indian citizens, must produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India at the time of appointment for their eligibility.

Education Qualification

  • 2nd Step: Click on the link ‘Register Now’ present on the right-hand side of the page (if candidates have not registered before on the SSC website).
  • 3rd Step: Enter the basic details such as ‘Name’, ‘Mobile Number’, ‘Email ID’, ‘Date of Birth’, and other necessary details. Submit the details.
  • 4th Step: A ‘Registration Number’ and ‘Password’ will be generated, and the same will be sent to the registered mobile Number and email ID.
  • 5th Step: Log in again using the credentials. Change the password after the first login.
  • 6th Step: Fill out the rest details.
  • 7th Step: Upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature.
  • 8th Step: Click on ‘Final Submit’.
  • 9th Step: Pay the application fee payment.
  • 10th Step: Take a printout of the application form for future reference.

SSC Stenographer 2025 Admit Card

The will be released one to two weeks before the CBT on the regional website of SSC. Aspirants will be able to download the admit card using their Registration ID and Date of Birth. However, the SSC will not send any hard copy of the admit card by post.

SSC Stenographer 2025 Result

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) releases the SSC Stenographer results 2025 for each stage separately. Candidates will only get shortlisted for the next round if and only if they clear the previous round. The result will be released in the form of a merit list PDF.
