November 18, 2024The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) in Tennessee conducts class 10 exams every year in the months of March and April. These exams aim to assess the student’s knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Approximately 9 to 10 lakh students sit for the TN SSLC exam every year. Every school associated with the Tamil Nadu Board uses Samacheer Kalvi’s Class 10 books.

November 16, 2023: Tamil Nadu Board has announced the Class 10 date sheet on its portal. According to the date sheet, the TN Board Class 10 2024 exams will be conducted from March 26 to April 8, 2024. Check out the complete details in the table below.
The application process is a necessary part of the board examination procedure. Students should have completed their registration to be able to appear for the TN Board Class 10 exam. The details filled out in the application form will be printed on the admit card. The board releases the dates for filling out the application and the school authorities complete the entire formalities. Students can submit the registration fees to the respective schools when they are notified about it. Below are the steps to fill out the Tamil Nadu Class 10 application form:
Students who appear for the Tamil Nadu Class 10 exams must know the exam pattern. This will help them prepare for any new changes that may have been made to the exam pattern and help them score better marks.
All students are required to score at least 35 per cent marks in each subject to pass the exams. This is applicable for passing in the compartmental system also.
However, marks obtained in the optional subject are not taken into consideration during the final calculation.

The Tamil Nadu Board prescribes the syllabus for SSLC or Class 10 students. TN board Class 10 admit card will be released in March 2025 tentatively. The 10th result of Tamil Nadu is released online every year by DGE. There is a separate portal available for the students where they can easily check their 10th result Tamil Nadu using their registration details. All candidates are required to save a copy of their scorecard.

When the TN Board Class 10 results are announced, students can follow these steps to download Tamil Nadu SSLC Results.
The TN state board exam organising department also conducts the supplementary examination for the students who either were unable to give the exam on the date of the exam or who were unable to pass in one or more exams.
