NTA began the UGC NET June cycle registrations on April 20, 2024, and the last date to apply online is May 10, 2024.

The UGC NET 2024 June cycle’s application form link is active from April 20, 2024, until May 10, 2024. Candidates preparing for Assistant Professorship, Junior Research Fellowship, or both for Indian Universities and Colleges must submit their application form well in advance of the deadline.
Candidates are advised to prepare their documents before completing the UGC NET form application. The NTA is not responsible for any technical or network issues candidates might face on the last day of the application submission. Hence, candidates are required to keep the following documents ready as mentioned below:
Copy of the University or Board Certificate to prove the candidate’s official name, Parent’s Name, and Date of Birth
Aadhaar Card
ID proof such as Bank Account Number, Passport, Ration Card, Voter ID, or any other official Government ID
Qualifying mark sheets or the mark sheet of the last semester
The Corresponding and Permanent addresses, along with Pin codes
Names of four names as per the candidate’s choice
Code of NET subject
Code of the subject at the post-graduation level
Code of post-graduation course
Category Certificate, if applicable
EWS certificate (if applicable)
Physical Disability Certificate (if applicable)

UGC NET Registration Fee 2024
The application fee for UGC NET 2024 will be submitted online. Payment modes such as Debit Cards, Credit Cards, and Net banking are accepted. A reference number will be created to complete the payment, which should be saved for future reference. The exam fee for different categories is as follows:

Note that the application form for UGC NET will be considered for further processing only after the successful payment of the fees. Also, candidates are expected to preserve the completed application form’s hard copy without fail.
How To Fill UGC NET Online Application 2024?
To apply online using the UGC NET form 2024, candidates must follow the steps outlined below:
Click “Application Form for UGC NET June 2024 cycle” on the homepage.
A new page will open. Now, click on “New Registration” on the left panel.
An instruction page will be displayed. Read it and click on the ‘checkbox’ present at the bottom of the page. Next, click on the button “Click Here to Proceed”.
The registration page will open. Enter details such as the Candidate’s Name/ Mother’s Name/ Father’s Name, Date of Birth, etc. Enter the contact details like Address, Mobile Number, Email ID, etc.
Once you have filled in all the required details, enter the Security Pin and click on “Submit”.
After successful submission of the details, an Application Number and Password will be generated. The details will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number and email ID.
Stage II: Complete Online Application Form for UGC NET
Once you have registered with NTA, you will need to log in to your account using the login credentials – Application Number and Password.
Enter the following details:
Personal Details include the Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, etc.
The candidate’s Communication Details include Address, Locality, City, District, State, PIN Code, Permanent Address, etc.
Educational Details include details of Schools and Colleges studied, Course Name, Name of the College, Year of Passing, etc.
Candidates also need to choose their preferred exam centre, Subject at PG level, NET subjects, PG Graduation course, etc.
After filling in all the details, verify them and click on “Submit”.
Stage III: Upload Photograph and Signature
Candidates need to upload the scanned images of their Photograph and Signature as specified below:
The scanned image must be in jpg/ jpeg format.
Computer and Polaroid-generated photos are not acceptable.
Application without a photograph shall be rejected.
After uploading the document, candidates must preview their uploaded images.
Once completed, click on the “Submit” button.
Candidates must upload their scanned images and signatures following the specifications listed in the table below:

Stage-IV: Payment of UGC NET Application Fee
After uploading the images, the next step is to pay the UGC NET application fee.
Candidates need to pay the fees through online mode only.
Choose one of the online payment methods available and pay the fee by entering all the required details.
After successful fee payment, take the printout of the application form for further reference.
The confirmation of fee payment and the receipt of the online transaction will be displayed on the confirmation page of the UGC NET June 2024 cycle.
Candidates whose fee is not received till the last date will not be considered for the exam.
In case of discrepancy or error in receiving the receipt of the fee, candidates should reach NTA with the proof of fee paid. The photocopy of the transaction slip through Debit/ Credit card/ Net banking/ Paytm will be considered as proof.
Stage-V: Download Confirmation Page
When the application fee is successfully paid, a confirmation page is generated. Candidates must print at least four copies of the confirmation page for future reference. Following that, the UGC NET 2024 application process will be completed.

Candidates must register before beginning the application process. They must have a valid email ID and mobile number for registration.
The application form which does not have proper information or no photograph will be rejected.

Save the registration number once it is displayed on the screen. The information must be safe until the UGC NET selection process ends.
