UGC NET Exam Date 2025 (Out): Check December Cycle Exam Schedule

UGC NET Exam Date 2025: The University Grants Commission (UGC) is ready to organise the UGC NET 2025 December exam from January 1 to January 19, 2025. Online Application Form for UGC – NET December cycle has been released on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. NET aspirants can submit their UGC NET application forms from November 19, 2024 to December 10, 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M) and correction in the in Online UGC Form can be made between December 12-13, 2024.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold the UGC – NET December cycle exam for 85 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode, as per Schedule given in this article. Candidates will be allowed to download their UGC NET Dec admit cards a few days before the exam date, and then they will be able to log in using their login credentials on ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Also, candidates can avail of the UGC NET exam intimation slip after it is provided by the NTA.

This exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates for Assistant Professorship, Junior Research Fellowship, or both, for Indian Universities and Colleges. The UGC-NET (June & December) is being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode w.e.f. December 2018 onwards. UGC NET Exam Date 2025 December Cycle

NTA has started the UGC NET December cycle registration process and announced the UGC NET 2025 exam dates (December cycle). UGC NET 2025 Dec exam will be conducted from January 1 to January 19, 2025 for 85 subjects.

UGC NET 2025 Notification Date

The NTA released the official UGC NET notification on November 19, 2024. The notification is in UGC NET PDF format and includes exam-related information such as the application process, eligibility criteria, complete schedule, exam centres, exam pattern, etc. The UGC NET 2025 December cycle notification is downloadable in PDF through the link given above.

UGC NET 2025 Application Form Date

The UGC NET 2025 application form has been released along with the notification. Aspirants can fill out the online net application form until the last date, which is from November 19 to December 10, 2024 — also issued on the official website, i.e., ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The application fee is Rs.1150/- for General category candidates, Rs.600/- for EWS/ OBC candidates, and Rs.350/- for Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Persons with Disability (PwD)/the third gender.

How to Apply for UGC NET 2025?

Candidates are advised to follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for the UGC NET 2025 exam:

• 1st Step: Visit the official website of UGC NET on ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
• 2nd Step: Click on “Registration of Online Application Form for UGC-NET December“ on the home page. It will be directed to a new webpage.
• 3rd Step: Click on the “New Registration” option and then select the “Click Here to Proceed” button.
• Enter your registration details.
• 4th Step: A new enrollment ID and password will be generated. Log in with those credentials again.
• 5th Step: Fill up the UGC NET Application Form with all the details asked on it.
• 6th Step: Pay the application fee as per the category.
• 7th Step: Download the UGC NET Application form onto your computer.
• 8th Step: Take a printout of the application form for future reference.

UGC NTA 2025 Admit Card Date

The UGC NET December cycle admit card will be released one week before the exam day. The release date of the UGC NET December cycle hall ticket will be added here soon. The hall ticket will be issued to candidates who complete the online application process. The admit card will be available on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Carrying a hall ticket and a valid photo ID proof on the examination day is compulsory.

UGC NET 2025 Answer Key Date

The provisional UGC NET answer key 2025 for the December cycle will be released after the exam. Candidates could review the answer key and predict their scores by referring to their response sheet. NTA allowed applicants to raise objections against the provisional answer key by paying Rs.200 per question.

They must raise objections by providing supporting documents within the stipulated period. After scrutinising the objections, the National Testing Agency will release the final answer key. The UGC NET December cycle answer key will be released soon and added to this page.

UGC NET 2025 Result Date

The UGC NET December cycle result will be released after the successful completion of the exam. The result will be released as a scorecard on the official website. The scorecard includes the roll number and the marks obtained by a candidate, application number, mother’s name, father’s name, subject name, post name, and result status.

Last year, candidates could check their results and download the scorecard for the December exam, by logging into the portal using their application number and date of birth/ password.
