The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) conducts the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) to recruit candidates for primary (1–5) and upper primary (6–8) school teachers. The UPTET exam will take place soon, and the exam dates will be announced by the authorities. The UPTET test is conducted in two shifts and consists of two papers, i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2.

The UP government releases vacancies for primary and upper primary government school teachers for UPTET-qualified candidates. The UPTET vacancy for 2023 is yet to be released. However, the last recruitment was conducted for 51112 seats for UP primary teachers in 2022. We will update the vacancies once the official release it.

UPTET teachers teach at two levels in state schools in Uttar Pradesh: the first level is for primary (classes 1 to 5) and the second level is for upper primary (classes 6 to 8). Many aspects must be considered by every instructor, and a few of them are listed below:

Salary Structure

In Uttar Pradesh, an Assistant teacher’s general pay scale during their training time is INR 7300, which can be upgraded to the permanent teacher’s pay rate once the training period is completed. Permanent Primary and Upper Primary teachers earn between INR 9300 and INR 34800 per month (without the 7th Pay Commission’s new increase). Primary and Upper Primary teachers earn INR 4200 and INR 4600 per month, respectively.

Age Criteria

• 1st Step: Visit the official website:updeled.gov.in.
• 2nd Step: Under CANDIDATE SERVICES, click on UP Teacher Eligibility Test.
• 3rd Step: Now, click on UPTET Admit Card.
• 4th Step: A login page will appear. Enter Registration Number and One Time Password and Captcha.
• 5th Step: After entering the required details, click on the Login button.
• 6th Step: The Admit Card 2023 will appear on the screen. Check all the details mentioned on the admit card.
• 7th Step: Download and take two or three printouts of the same for future purposes.
