November 18, 2024The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) conducts the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) to recruit candidates for primary (1–5) and upper primary (6–8) school teachers. The UPTET exam will take place soon, and the exam dates will be announced by the authorities. The UPTET test is conducted in two shifts and consists of two papers, i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2.
The UPTET Paper-I is for candidates interested in teaching grades 1 to 5, whereas the UPTET Paper-II is for candidates interested in teaching grades 6 to 8. The UP government releases vacancies for primary and upper primary government school teachers for UPTET-qualified candidates. The UPTET vacancy for 2023 is yet to be released.
