November 27, 2024The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) conducts the Uttar Pradesh Teaching Eligibility Test (UPTET). It is a state-level eligibility test conducted to determine candidates’ eligibility to be a teacher at various Government and Government-aided schools throughout the state. Through the exam, candidates can become primary teachers (Classes 1 to 5) and upper primary teachers (Classes 6 to 8).

Domicile: For appearing in the UPTET Paper-II, a domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh is needed. So, the residents of Uttar Pradesh are eligible to take the UPTET 2023 Paper-II exam.
