About VTU Scheme and Syllabus 2025

The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belgaum is named after the notable Indian engineer, scholar, statesman and Bharata Ratna recipient, Sir M Visvesvaraya. VTU is one of India’s leading and largest technological universities. It has 218 affiliated engineering colleges under its jurisdiction. A total of about 3,25,000 students have enrolled in 35 UG courses and 94 PG disciplines. 

At the undergraduate level, VTU Belgaum offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) courses. Over 4 lakh engineering students study in the various institutes affiliated with the University. Undergraduate engineering programmes are admitted through entrance exams such as JEE Main, KCET (B.E/ B.Tech) and NATA (B.Arch).
