WBJEE Counselling 2025: WBJEE counselling registration through the JEE Main score will start on July 20, 2025. To participate in the counselling round, candidates must register on the official website, i.e., wbjeeb.nic.in. A direct link to register will be added here on this webpage. Candidates can lock and fill in their choices. The seat allotment result for the first round will be issued via the official website.

This should be noted that the WBJEE counselling is usually conducted in two phases this year: Phase 1 is for the candidates who want to be admitted into the engineering courses, and Phase 2 is for the agriculture and pharmacy courses. Below are the important points related to WBJEE Counselling Schedule 2025:

1. WBJEE admissions will be made based on the GMR/ PMR rank.
2. Online registration is only allowed once in the first round of counselling.
3. No fresh registration is allowed in the second and third rounds of counselling.
4. Seats in the first round are allocated on the basis of candidates’ rank, preferred choices and seat availability.
5. For the remaining rounds, seats are allocated based on the vacant seats as per the previous round.
6. After the counselling and admission procedure is completed, no duplicate Rank card is generated.

WBJEE Counselling 2025 Round 1

Follow the steps below to participate in WBJEE Counselling 2025 for Round 1:

Step 1: Online Registration for WBJEE Counselling 2025

1. Only Candidates with their names mentioned in the merit list can take part in this registration process.
2. Candidates must register themselves on the official website of WBJEE, which the WBJEE Board authorizes – wbjeeb.in.

Step 2: Payment of WBJEE Counselling Fees 2025

1. Candidates must pay to complete the registration process to appear for the WBJEE Counselling 2025.
2. Candidates have to pay INR 500 through Net Banking as the counselling fee.

Note: The Counselling fee is not refundable.

Step 3: Choice Filling & Locking of WBJEE Counselling 2025

1. In this phase, candidates can select their preferences of colleges and courses to which they wish to receive admission.
2. Candidates must be careful to lock their choices before the deadline specified.

Note: Once the deadline ends, candidates cannot change their choices.

Step 4: WBJEE Counselling 2025 Seat Allotment

1. WBJEE Board allots the seats after candidates do the choice filling.
2. From the official website of WBJEE, Candidates can check their seat allotment.
3. Candidates must take the seat allotment sheet printouts and report to the allocated institute.

Note: WBJEEB does not send any individual seat allotment results.

Candidates have to bring and verify the following documents at the respective reporting centres:

1. After the document verification, candidates are requested to process the seat acceptance fee at the Reporting Centres (RCs).
2. The WBJEE Board decides on the list of the reporting centres.
3. The fee to be paid at the reporting centre is as follows:

Step 6: Reporting to the Institute

1. After document verification, candidates receive a provisional seat allotment letter from the board.
2. Candidates willing to get admission to a particular institute are requested to report within the period provided by the WBJEE Board.
3. Students must carry original copies of the documents to the reporting institute.

1. Candidates who have not been allotted seats in the WBJEE Counselling Round-1 are eligible to participate in WBJEE Round 2.
2. Candidates who have already registered for Round 1 need not register again, and there is no fresh registration in Round 2.
3. WBJEE Counselling 2025 Seat Allotment process for round 2 remains the same.
4. Candidates must verify their documents and pay the fee in the reporting centres.

WBJEE Counselling 2025: Mop-up Round

Following are some of the important instructions regarding the WBJEE Counselling Mop-up Round that candidates must know:

1. Candidates who have not been allotted any seat in the WBJEE Counselling Round-2 can participate in WBJEE Counselling Mop-up Round.
2. Candidates have to register for the Mop-up round and also have to make payment of the mop-up round and choice filling.
3. WBJEE Counselling 2025 Seat Allotment process for the mop-up round remains the same.
4. Candidates must verify their documents and pay the fee in the reporting centres.

Note: There is no up-gradation facility in the mop-up round as it is the final round.
