Dynamic And Adaptive Practice To Increase Competency Levels

Our recommendation engine combined with proprietary 'Solve With US', 'Practice' is helping students truly perfect their knowledge.

Embibe’s ‘Practice’ consists of 10 Lakh+ interactive question units packaged into chapters and topics of top-ranked 1,400+ books. An adaptive practice framework further strengthens ‘Practice’ by personalising practice paths for each student through deep knowledge tracing algorithms. The following are the salient features of ‘Practice’:

  1. The ‘Practice’ consists of the world’s most comprehensive granularisation of questions by breaking each question into 63+ taggable elements to drive micro personalisations at every stage of solving a question.
  2. ‘Practice’ is the world’s deepest innovation as it presents subjective questions using a proprietary pedagogy method called ‘Solve With Us’.
  3. ‘Practice’ connects all its content to Embibe’s Knowledge Graphs of 74,000+ concepts.
  4. It packages all the content into 310 exams, including K-12, college entrance exams, and job/government exams.
  5. Using solvers and templates, it dynamically generates personalised questions at run-time.
  6. It uses an advanced Natural Language Processing-driven phrase evaluator with the ability to evaluate long expressions, phrases, and long answers automatically.
  7. By using recommendation engines for learning intervention, it provides automatic help through videos and hints when a student is struggling with a concept or competency in a question.
  8. ‘Practice’ provides students with more than adequate questions on topics and concepts in the curriculum to practice as per their requirements. The detailed solutions are created by experts at Embibe.
  9. Students can access these practice questions chapter-wise or topic-wise through ‘Books with Videos & Solutions’, ‘Big Books’, or ‘Practice Chapters’, depending on their needs. The ‘Solve with Us’ feature provides students with hints at the question level and micro-hints at step level to help them solve the questions. In case students are still not able to solve it, detailed solutions are available for every question.
  10. ‘Important’, ‘Difficulty’ and ‘Lengthiness’ tags help students ensure that no important chapter is missed at a topic and chapter level. Also, based on difficulty and lengthiness, students can prioritise the chapter.
  11. Standard books widely used by students and written by famous authors are displayed on our platform in sequence. The more famous the book is, the higher it will be ranked, and it will be sequenced on our platform accordingly.
  12. Embibe syllabus is designed based on extensive study of the exam syllabus, the pattern of the exam papers in previous years, and prescribed text or popular books for the grade or exam. In a book practice, the syllabus followed is as per the book. However, the syllabus followed in ‘Practice through Chapters,’ ‘Embibe Big Book’ and ‘Test’ is Embibe syllabus.
  13. Seven different jars in Attempt Quality represent the count of answers of the following types:
    A. Too Fast Correct: An attempt where the student answers a question correctly in less than 25% of its ideal time is termed a too fast correct attempt.
    B. Perfect Attempt: An attempt where the student answers a question correctly in the time duration, which is more than 25% of the ideal time but less than its ideal time, is termed as a perfect attempt.
    C. Overtime Correct Attempt: An attempt where the student answers a question correctly by consuming more than the ideal time is an overtime correct attempt.

Every student is different and has a unique learning journey. They need suggestions that are given based on their state of learning and performance in practice. Recommended learning is a personalisation layer that is based on a student’s performance on the Embibe platform. It suggests the personalised learning path that students should take to progress. With the help of Knowledge Graph, Embibe recommends students to learn the prerequisite concepts for better understanding. The ‘Next Question Engine’ provides the question of the correct difficulty level in the nearest proximity zone of the student.
