Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: The state government has entered into a partnership with Embibe, an AI-powered learning platform, to enhance the learning experience of around 90 lakh children enrolled in over 53,000 state-run secondary and primary schools, including 746 Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) across the state.

Through the partnership, the government aims to foster a transformative learning environment for kids, officials said.

The initiative not only aims to uplift learning outcomes, but also equip students with essential skills, tailored to meet the evolving demands of the job market, officials said.

To begin with, subject teachers, majorly for science, mathematics and social science and wardens of KGBVs are being oriented towards the programme and its implementation.

Edtech offers the largest library of learning content which is aligned to curriculum and top reference books.

As per the agreement, Edtech will share a detailed engagement report in terms of usage and practised questions and attempt an analysis of the students every month, in addition to a real-time dashboard that will track the progress of schools.

“This MoU signifies the state government’s commitment to providing students with the best digital content that aligns with NEP guidelines. Embibe’s engaging, AI-led content, designed to foster the ‘learning by doing’ pedagogy, is poised to make education more interactive and effective, ensuring it meets the latest national educational standards,” said a senior official.

By using Embibe’s vast content library, the education department will be able to provide students with best-in-class content for STEM, test prep for meritorious students, social sciences, English, and Hindi. Under the agreement, Embibe will provide over two lakh videos free of cost to the students.

By leveraging the AI-based content of Embibe, students of government schools will now be able to learn concepts in a highly interactive, personalized, and activity-based methodology.

High school students can improve their learning outcomes by implementing efficient learning strategies. Spaced repetition involves reviewing material regularly to enhance memory recall. Active learning promotes deeper engagement and knowledge through practical experiments and problem-solving exercises. Multisensory learning, using multiple senses to process information, improves comprehension and retention. Retrieval practice, such as frequent review sessions and quizzes, strengthens knowledge recall. Mindfulness exercises reduce stress and enhance concentration. Metacognitive strategies, such as goal-setting and progress tracking, improve learning outcomes. Cultivating a growth mindset encourages perseverance and a willingness to embrace challenges.
