AP EAMCET 2024

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) released the AP EAPCET 2024 notification (instruction booklet) on its official website – cets.apsche.ap.gov.in on March 12, 2024. AP EAPCET exam is conducted for admission to Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy courses in Andhra Pradesh. The application process for AP EAPCET began on March 12, 2024, and the direct link to access the application form is provided on this page.

Candidates who pass AP EAPCET 2024 can register for the counselling process to get admission to the desired undergraduate courses. The last date to apply for AP EAPCET 2024 without a late fee is April 14, 2025; however, this varies if you delay the application form submission. • AP EAPCET 2024 exam dates have been revised. Now, AP EAPCET 2024 (Agriculture & Pharmacy) exam will be conducted from May 16 to 17, 2024, and AP EAPCET 2024 (Engineering) will be conducted from May 18 to 22, 2024.

Candidates who want to appear for AP EAPCET 2024 can check the eligibility criteria from this section and assess whether they can take the exam or not.

Age Criteria

• For Engineering courses, candidates must be at least 16 years old as of December 31 of the year of admission. There is no maximum age.
• For B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FS & T), and B.Sc. (Agr. Engineering), candidates must have completed 17 years of age as of December 31, 2024, with an upper age limit of 22 years for all candidates and 25 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
• For Pharmacy courses, candidates must be at least 17 years old as on December 31 of the admission year. 

Nationality

Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders.

Domicile

Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. The candidates should satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements as laid down in Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

Education Qualification

Aspirants must have cleared or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as non-mandatory or related line courses in Engineering and Technology, as conducted by the Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana Board of Intermediate Education.

Furthermore, the candidates passed or appeared in the board’s bridge course or courses for candidates registered for the current academic year or any other examination recognised as being similar to it by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana.

Number of Attempts

It is a state-level examination of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. There is no limit on the number of attempts for the examination.

Language Proficiency

The question paper for AP EAPCET is available in two languages, i.e. Telugu and English. Candidates can choose any language to attempt the exam.

Understanding the AP EAMCET 2024 exam pattern is one of the crucial steps to scoring well in the exam. The question paper consists of a total of 160 questions comprising 80 questions in Mathematics, 40 in Physics and 40 in Chemistry. All questions are of objective type (multiple choice) only, and each question carries one mark. Hence, the total mark for the engineering stream will be 160. There is no negative marking.
