November 18, 2024The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the NDA exam twice a year for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of NDA and Indian Naval Academy Courses (INAC). Candidates are chosen based on their performance in the written exam and the SSB interview. The Commission released the NDA exam dates along with the NDA notification 2023 on December 21, 2022.
UPSC accepted the NDA applications from December 21, 2022, until January 12, 2023. As per the NDA exam dates 2023, the NDA 1 exam was held on April 16, 2023, and the NDA 2 exam will be held on September 03, 2023. Check out the article to know more about NDA & NA EE 2023.

The Union Public Service Commission released the NDA 1 notification 2023 on December 21, 2022 and the NDA 2 notification 2023 will be released on May 17, 2023. The NDA is one of the best career options for those who want to serve the Nation, and it is a very respectful, challenging position with lots of responsibilities. The NDA offers a high salary, job security, pension after retirement and many other benefits. Army, Navy, and Air Force are the three different fields in NDA.
Candidates from all three fields are trained together before going to the respective service academies. The following are some of the responsibilities of NDA cadets:
Academic and physical training will be given to selected candidates for the NDA for a period of 3 years. The training is common for the cadets of three different wings during the first two and half years. Then they will be put in a particular stream. All the passed-out cadets will be awarded degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi as follows:
After successfully completing their training, cadets will be transferred to their respective wings, such as the Indian Military Academy (IMA) for army cadets, the Air Force Academy (AFA) for air force cadets, and the Indian Naval Academy (INA) for navy cadets, where they will be trained for another two years. After passing this stage, the passing-out parade will be held, and after this, cadets will be posted as officers in their respective wings.
