RRC Group D Exam Pattern 2024-25 (New): CBT-2 Pattern
November 18, 2024The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the RRC Group D exam for various Level 1 posts, such as Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant, Assistant Pointsman, and so on for the Indian Railways. RRC Group D is a national-level examination and the selection process consists of four stages, i.e., Computer-based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
The Railway Recruitment Cell, Secunderabad, issued an important notice about the release of RRB Group D 2022 results on December 13, 2022. As per the notice, the Group D CBT Result 2022 will be tentatively released on or before December 24, 2022. However, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for qualifying candidates will be held provisionally from January 2023 onwards.

The RRC Group D preparation needs a systematic and planned approach. The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will distribute the RRB Group D Admit Card 2022 for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) in December 2022 or January 2023. Candidates who get shortlisted in the CBT exam will only be able to download the PET hall ticket 2022. They need to visit their respective RRB websites to download the hall ticket. Furthermore, they must enter the registration number and password/ date of birth to download the hall ticket.
The RRC Group D admit card contains the candidate’s details, exam date & time, exam centre details, and instructions. Aspirants must carry a printout of their admit cards and a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre.
The officials publish the CBT tentative answer key online a few weeks after the exam. Candidates who appeared for CBT can check the RRB Group D answer key from their respective RRB official websites. Furthermore, they need to use their login credentials to check the answer key. RRB also provides a chance to raise objections against the tentative answer key. Therefore, candidates can challenge the answer key by paying an objection fee.
