November 8, 2024State Bank of India (SBI) is a well-known Indian multinational banking and financial services statutory organisation, and its headquarters is situated in Mumbai. SBI has a vast network of over 22,000 branches, 62,617 ATMs/ ADWMs, and 71,968 BC outlets across the country. The bank has spread worldwide and currently runs across time zones through 229 offices in 31 foreign countries.
SBI issued the official notification for SBI Apprentice recruitment on August 31, 2023, on the official website. SBI Apprentice is not a permanent position and cannot be considered employment with the bank. It is a one-year internship designed to teach candidates about various bank administrative jobs. It’s a type of internship that would be useful when they apply for bank jobs in future.
The State Bank of India holds the SBI Apprentice recruitment process once every year. This recruitment examination is conducted for various states such as Punjab, Gujrat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, etc.

This year, a total of 6,160 vacancies have been advertised. Last year, there were 6100 vacancies.
SBI Apprentice job profile includes several administrative tasks or, in a sense, training to familiarise the candidate with the activities and services that a bank offers to its customers. They will be supervised by a senior who will assist them in completing all of the tasks allocated to them at the bank.
According to the SBI Apprentice notification, successful individuals would be trained for a year and then be entitled to seek jobs at various banks after completing their training. Job profile includes authorities who will train individuals to operate different administrative work and services related to after-sales within one year.
The SBI Apprentice internship programme does not offer any opportunities for growth or promotion. However, after receiving the certificate, they will be able to apply for various posts in the bank, and this training will help them understand the nature of banking jobs.

Candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 28 as of August 1, 2023. Unreserved and EWS candidates must be at least 18 years old.

According to the SBI Apprentice eligibility criteria 2022, the SBI Apprentice minimum educational qualification requirement specifies that every applying candidate must be a graduate from any of the recognised universities. The graduation must be completed on or before 31 October 2000.
Note:
There is no limit to how many times you can take the SBI Apprentice Examinations. Candidates under the age of 28 may apply numerous times if they are eligible.
The questions asked in the written test will be bilingual, i.e., English & Hindi, except for the test of General English. A candidate applying for the SBI Apprentice Exam must be fluent in the state language for which he is applying.
With the release of the official notification, online registration for the SBI Apprentice 2022 exam will begin, and the last date for online registration will be announced along with the start date.

Candidates should select a centre where they wish to take the exam. However, the State Bank of India reserves the right to cancel any of the examination centres and/or add other centres, at its discretion, based on the response, administrative feasibility, etc. The bank also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one they opted for.
