SSC GD Constable 2025

The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC General Duty (GD) Constable exam. It is a national-level exam to recruit candidates for the post of Constable (General Duty) in the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR). SSC GD Age Criteria

The minimum age to apply for GD Constable is 18 years, and the maximum age is 23 years. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2002, and later than 01-01-2007.

Furthermore, there is a certain age relaxation for some categories. Permissible relaxations in the upper age limit for different categories are as follows:

SSC GD Educational Qualification

Candidates should have passed Matriculation or Class 10 from a recognised board or university.

How to Fill SSC GD Application Form?

After registering, aspirants must follow the steps outlined below to apply online for SSC GD Constable 2025:

• 1st Step: Registered candidates must log in to the official website, ssc.nic.in, using their credentials.
• 2nd Step: After logging in, candidates should click the Apply Now button in the top menu of the homepage.

The Staff Selection Commission started releasing the SSC GD 2025 admit card for CR, WR, NER, MPR and NWR regions on February 01, 2025, online on its regional official website. However, the hall tickets for all other regions will be released in the forthcoming days. Candidates have to visit the regional website to download their hall tickets.

Furthermore, they must enter the registration number and password/date of birth to download the SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2025. The hall ticket contains the candidate’s details, exam centre name & address, roll number, and exam-related instructions. Aspirants must carry a printout of their hall tickets to the exam centre.

The Commission will soon publish the tentative SSC GD exam answer key online at ssc.nic.in. Moreover, candidates need to enter their login credentials to download the key. The Commission also provides a chance for candidates to raise objections against the tentative answer key by paying the objection fee. Based on those objections, the officials publish the final answer key.

The Staff Selection Commission tentatively will announce the SSC GD Constable exam result probably in March 2025. Aspirants can check the SSC GD Constable result online at ssc.nic.in. The Commission releases the result in the form of a PDF. It contains roll numbers of candidates who have qualified for the next selection stage. In case of a tie in the score, the following tie-breaking criteria are used:

• Marks in Part A of the computer-based examination
• Marks in Part B of the computer-based examination
• Date of birth, with older candidates placed first
• Alphabetical order of names
