We know that the oblique sketch is a method of representing a three-dimensional object with a three-dimensional view on a two-dimensional plane surface. It gives a clear idea of how the object looks when seen from the front. All the faces cannot be seen in an oblique sketch, as we see in reality. In the sketch, all the lengths are may not look equal, as they are in the real object. Still, we shall be able to recognise the object. Such a sketch of a solid is called an oblique sketch. The oblique sketch is drawn on a squared (lines or dots) paper. The length of the side of one smallest square is taken as one unit to draw the oblique sketch.
