(a) -(ii) T 4 is secreted by the thyroid gland. T 4 is also known as thyroxine, and it derived from the amino acid known as tyrosine. (b) -(iv) PTH or parathyroid hormone secreted by the parathyroid gland. PTH regulates the blood calcium levels in our body. (c) -(i) GnRH is secreted by the hypothalamus. Gonadotropin releasing hormone stimulates pituitary gland for the synthesis and secretion of its hormone. FSH and LH are the important gonadotropin hormone. (d) -(iii) LH is secreted by the pituitary gland. In the male, LH stimulates the synthesis and secretion of testosterone form testes. In females, LH stimulates steroid release from the ovaries, ovulation, and the release of progesterone after ovulation by the corpus luteum.
