A rectangular based pyramid will only have two-plane of symmetry. Vasili has shown four plane of symmetry. Therefore, the plane of symmetry drawn by Vasili is not correct. As the base of pyramid is rectangle, the diagonal plane does not divide the figure into two symmetrical and identical one. If the base was square, the planes drawn by Vasili would be right. As the base is rectangular, the planes drawn are incorrect. Thus, the plane of figures for the rectangular base pyramid are only two as shown in the figure.
