We are given to draw an angle $∠ A B C$ equal to $130 °$ using protractor and then draw its bisector.

For this, let us do the following steps:

a) Draw a ray $\vec{B C}$ .

b) Place the centre of the protractor at the point $B$ in such a way that its straight edge or zero edge coincides with the ray $\vec{B C}$ .

c) To make an angle of $130 °$ at $B$ , you have to use the inner scale of the protractor to the left of point $A$ .

d) Thus, mark a point $A$ at the $130 °$ point of the protractor.

e) Take the protractor out and join $\vec{B C}$ as shown in the figure below:

$∠ A B C$ is the required angle $130 °$ .

Now, we have to draw bisector of angle $∠ A B C$ .

For this let us do the following steps (Look at the figure below):

a) In $∠ A B C$ , take $B$ as centre and using compass draw an arc cutting $B C$ and $A B$ at points $P$ and $Q$ respectively.

b) With $P$ as centre and radius more than half of $P Q$ , draw an arc.

c) With $Q$ as centre and the same radius taken in step (b), draw another arc cutting the previous arc at point $R$ .

d) Join points $B$ and $R$ .

Ray $\vec{B R}$ is the required angle bisector of $∠ A B C$ .
