Shreya is doing a paper-cutting activity. She cuts out the four corners of a rectangular sheet as shown in the figure. If the area of the sheet is $k {\mathrm{cm}}^2$ then,  find the value of $k$.

Find the cost of laying square grass tiles of side $1.2 \mathrm{m}$ in a rectangular lawn of dimensions $6 \mathrm{m}\times 3.6 \mathrm{m}$ when the cost of one tile is $₹18.$
